Four Doves walks with women, and the families they care for, through addiction and recovery, trauma and upheaval, and the daily work of housing, child care and education for children and adults alike. We serve Dolores and Montezuma Counties in Colorado, and Monticello, Utah. We are a women-led foundation, centered on women and open to anyone in the family.

• Substance Abuse & Recovery

  We connect people to treatment providers, meetings and peer support across the region, and we stay with them after the referral is made. Recovery is never one decision, and no stage of it puts someone beyond reach.

• Resources & Safe Living

  Connecting individuals and families to what makes stability possible: housing, food, transportation, benefits and the paperwork in between. Our job is to take barriers away, not to add more steps to the process.

• Behavioral Health & Family Restoration

  Helping families find behavioral health care and stay connected to it. Referrals, follow-through, and steady company through the slow work of rebuilding communication and trust after they have broken down.

• Child Care & Academic Advocacy

  For children, help with child care, IEPs and school meetings. For adults, going back for a diploma, FAFSA paperwork for college or trade school, and help with enrollment costs and the technology to do the work.
